Its fine spirit varnish finish, as found on more expensive cellos, results in a better sound allowing an expansive range of tonal colors. This superior Bulgarian cello includes highly flamed maple two-piece back, solid two-piece spruce top, sturdy flamed maple sides, inlaid purfling, ebony pegs, fingerboard and. This cello is made according to the Montagnana pattern, preferred by many string players. Also available with the traditional Strad pattern. Outfit includes strong pernambuco horsehair cello bow and bag.
