The Viola for the advancing student. It has a rich, clear, powerful and deep alto sound with an excellent, complex texture. Its fine spirit varnish finish (as found on more expensive Violas) results in a better sound allowing a wider range of tonal colors. This superior Viola includes a highly flamed maple back, solid two-piece spruce top, sturdy flamed maple sides, inlaid purfling, ebony pegs, fingerboard and chinrest. Viola includes Dr. Zaret's patented bass bar. Tirvana Violas are available in 15"-16.5" sizes.

Outfit includes strong pernambuco bow and oblong case with hygrometer.
