Our violins, violas, cellos, and acoustic basses are available to rent. They are professionally set up and ready to play. For an additional fee on 12-month rentals, you can also add our patented bass bar for a more powerful-sounding instrument.*

Prefer to order a rental in-store? Print and fill out a rental contract and bring it with you when you visit our shop.

Rent for Credit Program
With our Rent for Credit Program, 100% of the rental fee (not including insurance) for the first 12 months of the rental agreement may be applied toward the purchase of any instrument!
*We are not accepting rentals from out of state.
High-Value Stringed Instrument Rentals
High-value instruments have a purchase price of $5,000 or higher. All of our high-value instruments are in ideal playing condition. The rental cost for high-value instruments is as follows:
- Under 2 weeks: $150 minimum
- 1 month: 7% of the purchase price
- 3 months: 3% of the purchase price per month
- 10 months: 2% of the purchase price per month

Try Before You Rent
If you are in the Cleveland area, you are invited to come to our shop and play as many of our instruments as you like before choosing which one to rent. Dr. Zaret will help you select the most compatible instrument for you based on your personal taste and preferences.
If you are unable to visit our shop, Dr. Zaret can connect with you through Skype to play any of our violins or violas for you. We will also consider sending you several instruments to sample. Contact us for more information.
