Andreas Borelli Violin, c.1930 1/2 size

Andreas Borelli was an Italian-born violin maker, active in Parma during the early-mid 1700s. The Borelli school of violin making that developed in his style was adopted by workshops in Mirecourt, France and can be found as a trade name on models from the Thibouville-Lamy violin company and the workshop of Paul Mangenot dating to the early and mid 1900s.

This elegant, hand-crafted model boasts a predictably warm, clear tone, brilliant sound, and strong resonance. Any serious student or consummate professional will enjoy this violin's rich voice and balanced playing.
